SUMMER PLANS

  So far, I haven’t planned any panorama for the summer. The truth is that I am worried that the number of infections will increase due to the movement of people between regions, and I wouldn’t like to expose my family for a trip that I can take at another time. Now, ignoring the current context of the health crisis, I would like to travel to the south with my boyfriend, there are many places that we would like to visit.  Also, like the previous year, will we could visit his grandparents in San José de la Mariquina, since he has not seen them for a long time. On the other hand, I really want to travel to Concepción. A few months ago a friend had twins and I really want to meet them and accompany her mom in this wonderful process.  Anyway, as I mentioned before, I am very afraid of putting them in danger by traveling from Santiago. TV SHOWS AND SERIES

  When I was a child I'm not used to watch television, and instead I spent many hours immersed in reading, usually enjoying Harry Potter's saga  hahaha. Since I was a child I really liked The Simpsons, and until today those shows are my favorite cartoons. I am very impressed by the number of years that have remained in force since, despite having more than 30 seasons, they continue to release very funny chapters, and certain current issues. like many people, I am struck by the "premonitory" nature of some chapters hahaha where they have exposed situations that have occurred in real life. One of my favorites series is Grey’s Anatomy. I like how is connected the private life of the characters with hospital everyday. Also, this series is accurate with the characters life, there are many characters in this drama, some are already dead or gone, so the casting is constantly changing. MY FUTURE JOB

  When I was a child, I thought I would become a veterinary surgeon or a firefighter. When I was at the high school I planned to be a history teacher or a psychology. Finally, I decided to study Sociology, it’s my fourth year studying this career and I like it too much until now. Honestly, I’m not clear about in which area to work, but definitely it isn’t going to be in an office with a schedule. I like he field work, the idea of work in the area of investigation with a participatory focus captures my attention. I never have been good for statistics and quantitative studies, that requires a lot of computational tools to develop databases, so I prefer to develop qualitative studies. I wish I can find a work that allows me to develop my profession but not being in an office. I’d like to visit diffent places where I can develop my investigations, so far I have not considered leaving the country. As for the salary, the truth is I don't have higher expectations. MY FAVORITE MOVIE

 I likes movies a lot, most of the genres. Although, I must recognize the horror movies aren't my favorite, instead I prefer to watch a comedy or fiction.  One of my favorite movies of all time is Harry Potter's saga. I like movies as much as books, and I enjoy the story whenever I can. Also, I think about how the cast was the same during the years (except for the role of Albus Dumbledore, the actor from th first film passed away and was replaced in the second one), and to watch how the main actors grew up.  Coincidentally, it was also the last movie I've seen, because it's my favorite hahaha The last year I doscovered a coffe shop in Santiago. It's set in the world of Harry Potter. Also, they sell food described in the saga, taking the from obviously. It doesn't exist a butter beer, here.  The menu has the names of potions or spells. THE BEST HOLIDAYS

  The best holidays I have had were in February 2020, with my boyfriend we toured part of southern, during 15 days.  In this period of time, we toured Pucón, Caburgua, Temuco, Valdivia, Niebla y Corral. The last one was the I like the most, It's necessary to take a boat from Niebla to Corral, it takes about 30 minutes to arrive to the small island. Even, we toured the island riding on bike.  I have great memories of this travel with my partner. Were have the opportunity to connect us, with the nature and each other, in a different way, due to long walks, conversations and a lot of laughs.  Also, we saw wonderful landscapes and could visit boyfriend's grandparents, who live with four hills around, in San José de la Mariquina.  I just want to say it was a good period, great holidays for us, even though we were very tired, it was worth all the effort.

A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

  I would like to say that is hard to choose a travel destination. In my dreams, there are a lot of countries that I wish to visit.  In this post I'm going to talk about Jamaica. A far away country I would like to visit some time of my life. This country is considered the cradle of Rastafarian culture; a spiritual movement, a lifestyle that invites us to live with rectitude, humility, honesty, respect and above all with love.  I know there is a rastafarian museum in the city of Kingston, Jamaica's capital, I would like to go. This museum was the Bob Marley's home.  However, one of my main reasons for going to Jamaica is to walk through the streets and hills of the place. Another reason is meeting people, talking and sharing to nourish myself from the experience. I imagine it could be a very special place, with a different essence from the city, in our particular society.
